**[Job Description Summary: [Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will help oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and will assist in other areas in accounting including cost accounting, month-end closing, financial analysis and reporting. An effective Staff Accountant is a team player with an analytical mind, solid understanding of GAAP with the ability to apply professional judgement while operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They must be reliable and able to work autonomously and collaboratively within the Accounting department and beyond.

- Day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable function.
- Record banking transactions and reconcile bank accounts.
- Review and analyze capital projects.
- Fixed asset management including additions, disposals and reconciliations.
- Champion of maintaining a strong internal control environment.
- Consolidate month-end accruals and prepare journal entries.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with AR invoicing, collection activities and other Accounting responsibilities.
- Provide analytical support on an ad hoc basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
[Qualifications and Competencies (Education and Experience): ]{arial="" narrow",sans-serif"=""}
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent of 3 years manufacturing accounting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals of various skill sets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of all reported/disseminated information.
- Strong Excel skills and manufacturing ERP system experience are preferred.
