Scheduler for a Staffing Agency with an Excellent Company!

Experienced Scheduler for a Staffing Agency

  • PPS Agency supplies staff to facilities affiliated with National Health Care Associates Inc.'s network of nursing homes in the Northeast.

  • This is a Full-Time temp to perm position in a professional office environment.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Looking for a Scheduler to provide superior customer service to healthcare staff while problem-solving their staffing needs.

  • The hours are Monday-Friday with rotating on-call evenings/weekends (approximately once per month).

Primary Functions:

  • Schedule and monitor the skilled nursing/long-term care facilities for the Northeast's per diem RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

  • Replace any callouts in the facility

  • Must be available for On-Call rotation during the week and weekends (approximately once per month).

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Nursing Scheduler include:

  • Experience as a scheduler for an Agency within a healthcare environment

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills

  • Ability to handle dynamic scheduling needs and adapt to last-minute changes

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience and the ability to relate tactfully and professionally with all staff

  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant and to remain calm during emergencies

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
