Job Description

Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects in the healthcare, multifamily, education, or commercial sectors.

  Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

  Conduct site visits to gather essential information and assess project requirements.

  Solicit and review bids from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.

  Perform risk analysis to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.

  Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.

  Prepare and present detailed reports and estimates to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.

  Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

  Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in estimation techniques and tools.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications

  Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on healthcare, multifamily, education, or commercial projects.

  Demonstrated experience in estimating projects within the healthcare, multifamily, education, or commercial sectors.

  Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar platforms.

  High level of attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and reports.

  Work project over 10 million

Pluses

  LEED AP, PMP, or other relevant credentials.

  Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation is preferred. null
