Eaton Corporation Quality Inspector III in Westminster, Maryland

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector III.

The hours for this role are 6:00am-4:30pm

The hourly rate for this position is 26.00-28.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections.

• Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications.

• Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.

• Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities,

• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and assemblies.

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

• Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP) knowledge

• First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 knowledge

• ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.

• Computer, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; organization and time management skills.
