As our SEC Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our financial statements and disclosures are accurate, timely, and in full compliance with SEC regulations. You will be a key contributor to our finance team, driving transparency and reliability in our financial communications.
Work together with a small, specialized team addressing all aspects of SEC reporting and certain technical accounting topics.
Partner with members of accounting operations, stock administration, human resources, controllers, FP&A, legal, internal controls, third party vendors.
Develop reporting calendar and deliverables.
Prepare the Company's periodic SEC filings, including 10Qs, 10Ks, and assist with proxy statement.
Present and address with leaders key areas of SEC reporting matters and other topics.
Lead the tie out/review of the earnings release, web schedules, and conference call scripts.
Prepare and ensure consistency with the tie-out of the 10-Q/10-K with both earnings release and audit committee materials.
Prepare and/or review the EPS calculations and statement of shareholder equity as well as weighted-average shares outstanding.
Review and understand preparation of Statement of Cash Flows.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and update SOX narratives.
Assist in drafting and maintaining quarterly and annual accounting memos, for example going concern, impairment assessments, and related party information.
Review information from stock administration team.
Record or review monthly stock compensation expense.
Record or review share repurchases and RSU releases.
Ability to sort through large volumes of stock awards or transactions and summarize (Excel).
Prepare and/or review quarterly PRSU multipliers
Participate in global mandatory sustainability reporting such as CSRD, and new FASB and SEC standards to ensure proper reporting; provide benchmarking.
Understand the impacts of acquisitions and divestitures for SEC reporting purposes.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA.
6 to 8 years relevant experience, including multi-national and public company SEC reporting experience; Big 4 experience helpful.
Basic knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations.
Knowledge of global sustainability reporting helpful.
Accountable taking ownership over outcomes and public-facing information; self-starter.
Ability to listen to the needs of the business, articulate issues in a clear and simplified manner, present findings.
Advanced Excel and/or Google spreadsheet skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical with ability to dive into the details and data and do the analysis required.
Team player showing emotional intelligence in all situations.
Experience with Oracle, DOMO, and Workiva helpful.
