Primary purpose of the position

Responsible for supporting Global Beverage reporting & analysis process including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements, as well as ad-hoc analysis. Acts as liaison with Beverage business units to meet required deadlines, coordinates and communicates changes impacting process, and supports discussions on opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Prepares the annual freight and logistics forecast for Ball Beverage Packaging North America.

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual freight and logistics reporting and variance analysis.

  • Provides supports for ad-hoc freight and logistics reporting and analysis inquiries as needed.

  • Partners with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to support accurate budgeting and reporting of costs.

  • Assists the Manager of Financial Analysis in the preparation of balance sheet and cash flow forecasts in the planning process.

  • Combines and validates data from multiple sources to complete financial forecasting and reporting.

  • Reports results to Supply Chain and Procurement and identifies potential opportunities or risks in the upcoming forecast.

  • Maintains a working relationship with the Accounting and Supply Chain teams to support accurate freight and logistics accounting treatment and financial results, including the review of accruals and payments.

  • Responsible for the process of standard report distribution and financial analysis to the BPNCA leadership team as required on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Spearheads the development of financial and non-financial reports/dashboards, as well as other financial models or presentations as needed.

  • Prepares and maintains all applicable user documentation and training materials. Provides proactive process improvement recommendations and assists in implementing the accepted solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college education or work-related experience, Bachelors degree required.

  • Job related experience for 3 to 7 year(s) minimum.

  • Analytical ability, including comprehension of financial performance results and associated evaluation of drivers affecting results.

  • Must be able to manage conflicting priorities and to meet established timeliness while maintaining accuracy in their work.

  • Working knowledge of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Economic Value Added (EVA), business and economic principles and practices, financial modeling, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.

  • Proficient in Hyperion Financial tools (HFM, Essbase, Planning, etc.) preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]

  • Hiring Salary Range: $72,900 - $109,250 (Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
