What Will You Do?
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will support our Crew hiring efforts. You will learn how we deliver cutomer work, what technologies and equipment we specialize in, where this work gets done, and hire traveling contruction specialty workers to fill out our crews. This work happens on a regular pace, with constant demand planning and adjustment, a steady stream of applicants and referrals, and bi-weekly refocus. It's high-volume, 'class based' hiring that requires high energy, the ability to change tracks quickly, collaboration and teamwork, and the ability to stay focused on quality regardless of the demand.

Responsibilities
How will You influence success?
Strategy:
Consult/collaborate to identify demand over the next 30-60 day period.
Use a mixture of technology and efficient human process to create a “high-touch” candidate experience that moves applicants rapidly into and through the selection process.
Measure yourself against personal and team KPIs to stay on pace with recruiting activities to deliver results as needed.
Learn our Continuous Improvement roadmap, and then make and execute on procedural changes with a focus for improvement.
Sourcing:
Manage applicants in a timely manner, and source top-tier passive talent.
Engage with the TA team to find and maximize 'grassroots' sourcing methods in the dozens of markets where we recruit Crew talent.
Rapidly consider and disposition candidates from a ready stream of inbound applicants and referrals.
Engage candidates 'where they are' to maximize your positive response rate.
Add resumes to our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) for candidate management and to build talent pools.
Record candidate progress through the funnel with comprehensive notes.
Attend Career Fairs as needed.
Interviewing:
Review and screen candidates for technical competence, cultural alignment, and long-term fit.
Make recommendations to hiring teams on pros/cons of candidates, and areas to probe for assessment.
Be a professional and trust-worthy representative of the company and treat all candidates with respect (we don't 'ghost' candidates.)
Selection and offer
Work with General Superintendents to rapidly schedule, debrief, and offer candidates.
Coordinate with the candidate and hiring team for the most efficient and abbreviated interview process available to meet quality requirements.
Communicate transparently with the candidate where we are in process and what delays may have occurred, and why.
Accurately capture candidate compensation expectations and ensure they are matched against company and technical level pay matrices appropriately.
Onboarding:
Ensure that the candidate remains engaged and excited through to the successful start in the role
Coordinate with other onboarding team on handoffs to facilitate a smooth process up to and including orientation
Follow-through:
Maintain a relationship with new-hires and high potential candidates for networking
Qualifications
What Factors likely determine your Success?
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
2+ years of experience recruiting hourly roles (manufacturing, construction, field, or trades roles preferred) in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition – intake, sourcing, screening for cultural and technical fit, coordinating team interviews, calibration and closing the deal.
A history of positive interactions with hiring teams, coordinators, and candidates as a professional, candid, and trust-worthy partner.
Desire to align with Team Performance objectives and drive for success.
Strong use of technology (applicant tracking, career websites, AI overlay to attract applicants, etc.) to ensure robust pipelines of engaged and qualified talent.
Data driven with proven experience improving recruiting KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire, <6mo retention, etc.) and funnel management.
Preferred:
Experience in the construction/engineering/manufacturing or related trades-driven field service industries.
Experience with grassroots sourcing and referral programs.
Demonstrable history of innovating and using best practice
Work Environment:
Hybrid - Work from Home Monday and Friday, required in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and ThursdayBase salary: $35.00 to $ 45.00 HR
