BAE Systems Business Process Analyst I in Westminster, Colorado

The Business Process Analyst position will support our business units in Information Technology software including in-house development, SaaS solutions, On-Prem, and COTS products. Analyze business and technical processes and tools to formulate new and modified business information processing systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as software functions, output requirements, and system techniques and controls.

The Enterprise Assurance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers critical assurance disciplines that protect and enable people, data and missions. We provide a comprehensive approach to managing risk across the enterprise for current and future information environments where the business and missions execute. We apply the use of innovative tools and robust processes to ensure mission and business success.

What You ll Do:

  • Support a variety of supply chain, inventory & property software tools from an IT perspective including customer incident tickets, data integration failures, bug fixes and enhancements.

  • Use ServiceNow as our technical management support tool for daily operations break/fix.

  • Work closely with a team of other analysts, software developers and software quality assurance.

  • Create Knowledge Base articles to support break/fix and on-going maintenance on software products.

  • Coordinate and manage business partner discussions to gather software requirements, documentation on new software and enhancements to existing software.

  • Assist in creating software testing acceptance criteria related to software modifications and bug fixes.

  • Assist with establishing and auditing user permissions and roles.

  • Work with multiple Information Technology teams to develop, test, and launch products.

  • Attend daily team standups.

  • After hours on call rotation.

  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Related Bachelor s degree; or HS Diploma and 4 or more years of related experience.

  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate s, Bachelor s Degree, Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience.

  • Related certifications may count towards years of related experience.

  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

  • Ability to work multiple tasks daily including break/fix, enhancements, projects, bug repro steps, acceptance criteria and business requirements gathering.

  • Collaboration, flexible, delivering value faster, customer focused and continuous improvement.

  • Clear and effective communication skills.

  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to retain and document repeatable steps in troubleshooting. Passion for documentation.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Use of an Information Technology Ticketing Management System.

  • MS Azure (TFS).

  • ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity with IFS Industrial and Financial Systems/ERP.

  • Familiarity with SQL.

  • Agile/Kanban methodology.

  • Creating Software Business Requirement Documents.

  • Asset Management software tools.

  • Warehouse Inventory Management software tools.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $53680.000 - $91300.000

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
