Charles Schwab Sr Manager, Software Development & Engineering Senior in Westlake, Texas

Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Handle project deliveries for both Development and QA Teams. Create and analyze requirements. Handle QA operations including all stages of SDLC. Develop Selenium automation framework using Page Object Model (POM), Testing and developing Maven targets to execute automation suites. Generate automated smoke and regression suites along with sprint testing activities. Coordinate with business users and understand requirements. Create and execute automation test scripts using Selenium with Testing framework. Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrating with existing automated suite. Develop data ingestion pipelines using Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools. Position supervises 3 Senior Quality Assurance employees. Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $228,500 to $246,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience (5 years with Bachelors or 3 years with Master’s degree), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Test automation of financial products and applications using Selenium, Webdriver, Grid, TestNG, BDD, and RestAssured; Java, Python, Groovy Script, and VB Script programming; TOSCA, Protractor, Cypress, Playwright, and QTP; MS SQL and Teradata; JMeter and LoadRunner; Axioma Oortfolio Optimizer (APO) tool; and Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Spark, SparkSQL, Apache Hbase, Hive, MapReduce, PIG, SQOOP, Scala, and Flume.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 3 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
