Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Software Developer Senior (ref. Code 2025-106886 in Westlake, TX.
Duties: Perform advanced development, support, and implementation of complex systems using specialized domain knowledge and highly- developed business expertise. Leads large projects and programs with limited oversight. Works closely with developers, architects, product owners, technical leads, and leads the Java application development team. Develop new business capabilities and perform design reviews. Provide technical direction and support to the team. Conduct coding, unit testing, and resolve production issues. Lead design and implementation of new stories and bug fixes. Participate in product roadmap discussions and long-term planning.
Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwabs internal approach to workplace flexibility.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's in Engineering (any), Applied Computer Science, Computer Science or a related field and 60 months of progressive post-bachelors related experience in a related occupation. Related skills may be required.
