Description:

Our client, an industry leader, has an exciting opportunity for a Java Production Support Engineer

to work on a 12 month + contract role working hybrid onsite two weeks a month in Westlake, TX. This is a contract consulting role available for W-2 only with a rate range of $55/hr to $60/hr on a w-2 basis.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:

· Manage production incidents related to healthcare application data and escalate code issues by creating production incidents.

· Identify and troubleshoot data and code issues effectively within a healthcare application.

· Collaborate with global teams across the USA and India to support seamless operations.

· Work fully within Agile methodologies to ensure project alignment and rapid iteration.

· Communicate effectively with both technical and business partners, as well as systems partners, for client-facing channels.

Experience Requirements:

· Proficiency in Java, Spring, API, REST, HTML, and PostgreSQL.

· Strong SQL skills, especially with complex queries involving multiple tables and schemas.

· Experience with one or more cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

· Familiarity with Docker, Kafka, Drop Wizard, and Microservice Architecture.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
