Wells Fargo Digital Product Management Director in WESTLAKE, Texas

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital Product Management Director to lead the Observability solution Product Organization for Wells Fargo globally. A fabulous career opportunity for an experienced Product Management Director with responsibility and accountability for leading and prioritizing all product vision and decision, so to ensure we are delivering the highest value as quickly as possible at the best quality and performance.

The Wells Fargo Observability Product Management team is focused across five (5) strategic L2 groups and this role responsible for the Product Managers for each, provide guidance and direction to the engineering leaders on prioritization, dependency, and timing to be delivered to our customers.

Overall impact of this employee and their responsibilities can be measured in a number of ways, especially given the enterprise-wide mission of the team to drive efficiencies at speed & scale across the entire Wells Fargo organization and all lines of business, and ensuring the forecasted Business Cases / OKR's / Epics all tie together and align with the objectives of our key stakeholders, so to ensure appropriate synergies are recognized and maximum value delivered to our business, customers, and shareholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of managers and digital professional individual contributors with focus on supporting the development and execution of digital strategy within a large business line or functional area for cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the function or affected by its outcomes

  • Identify opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives with impact across the business line and may have enterprise-wide impact

  • Lead the team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables like content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research or product management

  • Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned department or business group

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • Defines and articulates the vision and strategy aligned to organizational goals.

  • Establishes, communicates, and monitors strategic goals, objectives and key results (OKRs) and performance indicators

  • Collaborates with the Product Designer to ensure our experiences are in service of solving user problems and meeting businesses needs responsibly, and our products bring value to customers through usability and desirability

  • Engages in industry, technology, and customer ecosystem research and discovery to effectively identify, anticipate, and monitor market and customer challenges, needs, and trends

  • Identifies and resolves sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products, partnering with the Product Architect

  • Defines acceptance criteria for epics, incorporates operations

  • Manages the corporate investment by allocating the product budget (labor and non-labor) to appropriately address priorities and maximize value

  • Engages customers and stakeholders to inform decision making throughout the product lifecycle to improve the customer experience

  • Removes impediments to achieve the customer and business outcomes for the product

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of management experience

  • 6+ years of Financial Services Industry experience

  • 6+ years of alerting experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience utilizing an OKR [Objective & Key Result] framework for managing and exceeding organizational outcomes

  • Experience with three or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, including Confluence and Jira

  • Experience identifying opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives with impact across the business line and may have enterprise-wide impact

  • 4+ years of Leadership experience

  • 4+ years of experience operating as a leader in a global organization with budget and leading of leaders

  • Agile Certified Product Manager

  • Experience developing and guiding a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing all levels of professionals, including senior leadership

  • Experience with Digital Experience Management, Logging, Monitoring and Event Management, Tracing, and Visualization

  • Highly collaborative leadership style, enabling alignment with Technology Executive, so to partner and deliver on shared vision with key milestones and business outcomes

Job Expectations:

  • In office expectation of 3 days per week

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
