1 Job Locations Remote - U.S. Category Sales Overview We are looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President (VP) of Global Content Innovation Sales to lead and grow our content solutions portfolio. This leader will be responsible for driving our global sales strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and spearheading growth initiatives in partnership with the product, marketing, and customer success teams. The AVP will play a critical role in enhancing our global presence, developing innovative content solutions, and delivering exceptional client value in alignment with company goals. What you will be doing Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a global sales strategy for the content innovation portfolio to meet and exceed revenue goals. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional sales directors and account executives, ensuring sales targets are met and team members are motivated. Set clear objectives, sales targets, and performance metrics for the team, and hold team members accountable to drive results. Market Expansion & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in global markets, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs. Partner with product and marketing teams to tailor offerings to market demands, ensuring a strong value proposition that resonates with target customers. Leverage market insights, industry trends, and competitor analysis to identify and prioritize new growth areas. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on content innovation solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and ensuring high satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Work with customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing account management. Sales Operations & Performance Management: Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the global content innovation sales function. Implement and refine processes for lead generation, qualification, and account management, focusing on operational efficiency and scalability. Utilize CRM and sales analytics tools to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize team productivity. What will make you successful Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within software, technology, or content solutions sectors. Proven track record of driving revenue growth in global markets, with experience leading and managing high-performing sales teams. Strong understanding of content innovation trends, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable sales strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
