Description Full-time Night Assistant Nurse Manager 3 North Medical Telemetry Acute Care Unit 3 North (3N) is made up of 30 private telemetry beds. 3 North is 30 inpatient beds which is unique to our Medicare Designated Hospital setting. Position Summary To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families. Essential Functions Routinely provide patient care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Maintains employee records. Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development. Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals, and education. Committee involvement, participate in quality improvement initiatives. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost-effective manner. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
