Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Westford, MA to bring on a Quality Inspector with CMM experience. This is a full-time position.

Pay: $30-$40 an hour depending on experience

Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, OT may be available

Position : Quality Inspector

Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong machine shop background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and a passion for ensuring high-quality standards in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using CMM, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

• Program and operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional checks and generate inspection reports.

• Review blueprints and technical documentation to understand part specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.

• Utilize various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions and characteristics.

• Identify non-conformities and communicate findings effectively to relevant team members.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for traceability and compliance.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop environment.

• Proficient in CMM operation and programming, with a strong understanding of measurement principles.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Familiarity with various measuring tools and quality inspection methods.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficient in computer applications related to quality control and data management.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a machining environment.

• Experience with CMM programming and operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
