Description

We are offering a contract to permanent position as a Responsible Business (ESG and Sustainability) Manager with a construction industry client in Westerville, Ohio. The selected candidate will primarily be tasked with the implementation and promotion of the company's Responsible Business strategy, fostering a positive sustainability culture, and staying informed on emerging industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and promote Responsible Business as a core value within the organization.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the sustainability industry.

• Assist in integrating Responsible Business considerations into the company's operations and decision-making processes.

• Build and lead a high-performing team focused on delivering Responsible Business initiatives.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide expert advice on topics such as GHG Emissions Inventory and Climate Risk Management Strategy.

• Conduct Responsible Business risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

• Manage Responsible Business reporting and disclosures, including regulatory filings and investor communications.

• Monitor Responsible Business performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.

• Develop and implement integrated ESG/CSR initiatives and communication programs.

• Advise senior leadership on environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities.

• Establish, monitor, and improve Responsible Business systems and policies to reduce or eliminate risk.
