Maintenance Manager Company: Rieke LLC Primary Location: 8200 Innovation Campus Way West, New Albany, OH 43054 USA Employment Type: Salaried | Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities The Maintenance Manager oversees all shift operations in the assigned areas of responsibility in a manner that enhances the plant's safety, personnel engagement, quality of product, productivity, cost reduction, and tool & equipment maintenance. Actively participates in 3rd Party audits representing their departments Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment through coaching, training and proactively leading GEMBA walks and ensuring all safety policies are being adhered too. Ensure team members are successfully trained to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations according to internal and external specifications as communicated on the work instructions. Lead and maintain a "visual workplace" - production boards, equipment status boards, etc. Proactively achieving OTIF through continuous improvement and productivity that includes; uptime, scrap yields, cycle times, and cavitation standards. Review scheduled production runs based on customer requirements and communicate priorities across all three shifts. Ensure Preventive Maintenance for assembly equipment are scheduled and completed on time. Responsible for filling out appropriate documentation, ensuring team members do their documentation accurately, including performance evaluations, accident reports, vacation requests, and counseling forms, etc. Ensure every team member is properly trained, oriented and in compliance with the company's safety, machine operation and Quality Policies. Review and update team members' job descriptions and hold them accountable for maintaining a safe work environment, delivering exceptional performance results, while maintaining harmony among workers. Responsible for shift meetings with team members to ensure communication of expectations, discuss any issues related to safety, quality or productivity that need to be addressed. Directs and coordinates revision of production plan, employee's schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems. Maintain effective control over time and attendance, reflecting adequate information in the time tracking system. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Lead, motivate, participate, and train team members, to promote growth in a team oriented environment. Lead CI projects and/or be a proactive participant on project teams in support of continuous improvement and new product launches. Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement to management. Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization and in particular, your area of responsibility. Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented. Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an injection molding/assembly manufacturing environment Experience with leading lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects. Thermoplastics processing, high cavitation molding, lean-continuous improvement tools, sched
