The role:
We are looking for Laboratory Assistants for our RTGA department, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this roles offers. You will be based at Sorbonne Crescent in Canning Vale, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples and laboratory testing. You will also be involved in the simulation of minerals production processes in order to test the properties of mineral samples.
Some of your tasks will be:
Weighing, digestion and preparation of samples for analysis
Follow and adhere to laboratory procedures
Undertake tasks as requested by the supervisor
Meet quality, TATs and KPI’s required for the role.
Maintain good laboratory housekeeping.
What’s needed?
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:
Reliable and keen to work
Flexibility for weekend work as required
Physically fit and willing to perform manual handling tasks
Sound numerical skills
A methodical, well organised approach to your work
Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety
Shift Roster
Monday to Friday
12 hour night shift roster (6.00pm - 6.00am)
**Roster may change in future to meet business requirements to
- 8 hour night shift roster (10.00pm – 6.00am)
