Amazon Sr. Systems Engineer, MES, Robotics IT in Westborough, Massachusetts

Lead the rollout, adoption, and ongoing support of our next-gen manufacturing execution system supporting the largest manufacturing operation within Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
Foster a culture of inclusion.
Understand fundamentals of MES (Data governance and collection, digital system integration, Business process management and mapping.)
Be able to triage and prioritize critical improvements, resolve issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Develop/ communicate/ execute a roadmap of improvements for a given function or feature.
Development, administration, change management, support, and documentation for Tulip MES platform and integrated systems.
Work with Manufacturing Process Engineers to design and implement new product features, templates and work instructions.
Administer the platform, ensuring IT security requirements are met and application integrations are subject to change management controls to protect upstream systems.
Expand functionality of Tulip within AR Manufacturing to realize the potential of an end-to-end operations platform.

About the team
Robotics IT is responsible for implementing, developing and maintaining the systems and applications supporting Amazon Robotics manufacturing.
Basic Qualifications
2 years of non-internship experience supporting manufacturing information systems.
2 years experience in an IT or OT department.
1+ years of working directly with engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience implementing or supporting Tulip platform
5+ years experience supporting scaled manufacturing operations.
5+ years experience in an enterprise IT/OT department.
Experience implementing or supporting systems in public cloud providers.
BA preferred.
