Amazon Robotics empowers a smarter, faster, more consistent customer experience through automation. Amazon Robotics automates fulfillment center operations using various methods of robotic technology including autonomous mobile robots, sophisticated control software, language perception, power management, computer vision, depth sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic understanding of commands. Amazon Robotics has a dedicated focus on research and development to continuously explore new opportunities to extend its product lines into new areas.

Amazon Robotics co-op opportunities will be based out of the Greater Boston Area in our two state-of-the-art facilities in Westborough, MA and North Reading, MA. Both campuses provide a unique opportunity to have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities.

Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) 6-month co-op between January to June 2025 or July to December 2025

Travel amount is less than 10% a year.

Key job responsibilities

  • Converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information

  • Design and develop highly available dashboards, perform business analysis and data queries using SQL, Python and other BI Tools

  • Working with large data sets, automate data extraction, and build monitoring/reporting dashboard

  • Story telling with Data and Visuals

  • Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events

  • Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities

  • Communicating complex analysis and insights to our stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.

  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Tableau or Power Query

  • Knowledge of SQL

  • Work 40 hours a week throughout the course of a 10 weeks to a 6 months summer internship

  • Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)

  • Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis

  • Experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate
