We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team and contribute to the success of our upcoming projects.

Position Overview: As the Construction Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of excavation projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of skilled laborers and equipment operators to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavation and construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a crew of excavation personnel, including equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Plan and schedule excavation activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements.
• Conduct pre-job meetings to review project scope, safety protocols, and work procedures with the team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance, coordinating repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, equipment usage, and other relevant project documentation.
• Solve on-site challenges and make real-time decisions to keep projects on track and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in construction is a plus.
• Proven experience as an excavation construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment operation, and construction processes.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficient computer skills, including the use of project management and scheduling software.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
