Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable (AP) Manager who is proficient in managing the entire lifecycle of accounts payable activities. This is a 3+ month contract position located in downtown Salt Lake City.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on management and coordination of the full cycle of accounts payable activities maintaining accuracy and timeliness in a high-volume environment

• Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers.

• Review, validate, and authorize all payable invoices for payment.

• Adhere to 3-way matching of invoices to POs to receipt

• Monitor AP department procedures and internal controls.

• Carry out account reconciliations and deal with any AP discrepancies.

• Handle vendor-related issues effectively.

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports for management review.

• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings are carried out promptly.

• Support cash management initiatives and timely, accurate disbursements.

• Support the recent implementation of Concur.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including full-cycle AP management.

• Experience using SAP is very helpful.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

• Outstanding leadership, communication, project management skills.

• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
