How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Hands-on collaboration with business and technology leaders, stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineers to define, develop, test and validate technical solutions to help drive customer-first product roadmap enabling business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other Enterprise solutions teams (OneData, OneAmex and OneIdentity etc) for solutions and implement the learnings within the organization.

  • Contribute to Technology community by actively participating in team and company-wide architecture and engineering discussions and forums.

  • Forward thinking with an ability to implement for the short term but at the same time design for the long term.Responsible for health and quality of the code across the portfolio, including all aspects of testing unit, functional and performance and CI/CD.

  • Introduce new Engineering paradigms, techniques, and solutions.Works on a specific platform/product or as part of a dynamic resource pool assigned to projects based on demand and business priority.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in engineering or computer Science OR master’s in computer applications or equivalent significant experience is required.

  • Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods.

  • Hands-on experience with application design, software development and automated testing across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate.

  • Experience with Java/J2EE and related frameworks like Spring Boot, Vertx

  • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases/ NoSQL databases

  • Able to understand and use sophisticated data structures and associated components.

  • Experience with REST APIs

  • Solid Understanding of CICD pipelines.

  • Participated in code reviews.

  • Knowledge of open-source frameworks and libraries

  • Good understanding of networking protocols and stacks

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent technical and analytical competence

  • Ability to influence and lead others.

  • Self-starter with a curiosity and appetite for new technology

  • Willingness to understand the business and participate in discussions about project requirements.

  • Strong analytical & critical thinking skills

  • Ability to interpret technical /business objectives and challenges.

  • Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals.

  • Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking.
