What You Will Do:

Selected candidate will be assigned to the Special Access Programs Security Office within the P&W Government Security Compliance (GSC) department. As a member of the GSC team, the ideal candidate must be flexible to meet the immediate needs of our customers and display strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate to multiple levels of the organization. The primary focus is to provide technical support for organizational compliance, general security administration, and customer service support, as directed. The position will provide security support to a multitude of customers and work locations, thus, efficiency, attention to detail, and positive and effective communication skills are a must.

Assist in the full scope implementation of Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manuals, company Standard Operating Procedures and additional contractual security requirements. Complete duties as assigned by management to include but not limited to:

• Apply the requirements of the DoD SAP Security Manuals across a portfolio of programs and facilities. Monitors the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Perform the full range of tasks associated with establishing, maintaining, and enforcing all regulations related to ensuring compliance with all aspects of USG contracts.

• Collaborate with security and program management for the development, implementation and achievement of program unique security goals and requirements.

• Develop and/or implement program specific security plans. Provide PERSEC related initial, annual and program specific security training to the accessed employee community.

• Assist in the completion of annual and event-based security compliance inspections and audits.

• Provide daily in-person security support and services to accessed employees. Responsible to process, organize and maintain accurate personnel records that contain company sensitive and personally identifiable information.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience in security.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Current Secret-level U.S. government security clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret-level clearance.

• Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to prioritize and successfully perform competing tasks; display initiative in identifying and addressing deficiencies.

• Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products.

What is my role type?

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
