Job Title: Project Superintendent

Job Description

The Project Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Construction Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed and maintain the standard of excellence established by the company and customer. This role involves taking the lead on certain tasks with little oversight, as well as executing selected projects, including managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. The Project Superintendent will ensure that quality standards are maintained across all tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage onsite team, subcontractors, and provide daily updates to the project manager.

  • Coordinate and oversee job site logistics, daily work activities, day-to-day customer interactions, and progress of all subcontractors.

  • Order materials for projects, manage on-site materials, reconcile material shipments, and coordinate delivery of equipment and materials with subcontractors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction industry experience in a supervisory role

  • High School Diploma at a minimum

  • Proficient at reading plans and specifications

  • Familiarity with project schedules, budgets, safety procedures, and ensuring adherence to these

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite & Outlook (Word, Excel, MS Project is currently used, but moving towards Procore)

  • Competent in running multiple crews and disciplines

  • Open to lead superintendent with GC or MEP experience

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and verbal) – customer-facing

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations

Work Environment

On sites throughout Palm Beach County, from Indian River County to West Palm Beach. Superintendents need to be flexible with the schedule based on when work needs to be completed. They may need to work on weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $48.08
