Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization with a private-approved school looking to hire a dynamic Special Education Teacher to work with children 3 - 8 years old at the West Mifflin location during our summer program. June 24th-August 2, 2024.
QUALIFICATIONS-Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor Degree (Required)
- PA Special Education Certification (Required)
- Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)
- Acceptable PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances required
- Passing of physical examination and TB required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Special Education Teacher
- Provide a safe, accepting classroom atmosphere and use teaching techniques that promote developmentally appropriate practices, and physical, social, emotional, and psychological growth for each student
- Collect, interpret and report progress of data collected on student IEP goals.
Monday - Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 4-hour days. The hourly rate of pay is $38. Work hours are Part-time 20 hours a week from June 24, 2024 to August 2, 2024. No School on July 4th or 5th.
