The Position
This role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, peripheral devices, and network components. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problems in a timely and accurate fashion providing end user training and assistance where required.

Essential Functions
Support of client hardware, standard software, and local applications
Oversees all tickets originated from Site New Hampshire, focusing on fast and effective end user support
Communicating with team and management on issues and provides timely statuses of issues
Ensure registration and prioritization of IT tickets based on Impact and Urgency
Responsible for maintaining IT Knowledge Base articles covering frequent asked questions, workarounds and problem resolution
Training of general staff on usage of equipment and systems
Perform and maintain housekeeping according 5S principles
Testing and documentation of all new operating systems, software, and hardware prior to rollout
Work in collaboration with local and Global IT support to resolve and document IT services, incidents, problems, and changes
Responsible for purchasing new hardware/software
Responsible for IT Asset Management and Life Cycle management covering end user devices, maintaining the Asset Management database updated trough the life cycle and ready to use anytime
Responsible for managing software licenses
Resolution of 2nd level support tickets and activates covering SAP and PAS-X system and relevant hardware in the field
Acts as a resource on department and site projects and meets milestones per Project Plans
Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes
Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required. This position may lift up to 33lbs/15kg occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. The ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk. The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, and grasp. Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; operating a motor vehicle or heavy equipment, and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions including: noise, inside and outside conditions including temperature changes; atmospheric conditions including: odors, fumes, and dust.
Qualifications
Education and Certification:
High School Diploma required
Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
HDI CSR certified, preferable
ITIL Foundation certified, preferable
Technical Certification, preferable
Work Experience:
High School diploma with a minimum of 6 years relevant IT experience, associate degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant IT experience, or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant IT experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal/communication skills
Demonstrate solid knowledge on end user hardware and Desktop Support for PC Windows operating systems and MS Office programs
Demonstrate solid understanding of Asset Management, Incident, Problem, and Change Management handling and documentation
Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
Demonstrate solid organizational skills
