CAZIER EXCAVATING, INC. General Laborer in WEST JORDAN, Utah
We are seeking hard working laborers with the willingness to learn and advance in our trade. We value continuous improvement and encourage our employees to expand their skills and gain experience within our industry. Laborers will work with grading, installing underground utilities, and other work associated with excavation. Must be physically able to do heavy lifting and other general labor duties; Be tolerant of all weather conditions.
You must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation as our job sites include Weber, Salt Lake, Tooele to Utah Counties; You must be dependable, on time, and able to work full time M-F. We offer a drug-free workplace, and all employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify.
Responsibilities
- Tasks will include shoveling, fine grading and operating small compaction equipment.
- Assist with grading and excavation tasks.
- Work on the installation of underground utilities such as water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools associated with excavation and utility installation.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications
- No experience necessary.
- Must be able to lift 90 pounds repeatedly and be on your feet all day.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience in construction, excavation, or utility work is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude.
- You must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation as our job sites include Weber, Salt Lake, Tooele and Utah Counties.
- You must be dependable, on time, and able to work full-time M-F.
- Occasional volunteer weekend work during busy seasons.
