Robert Half Managing Director in West Hills, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director based in West Hills, California. The chosen individual will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and providing leadership to the clinical staff. This role is in the healthcare industry and involves collaboration with different departments to ensure effective coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide robust leadership to the clinical staff, managing department operations effectively, setting goals, and developing policies and procedures.

• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of clinical personnel, including evaluating staffing needs and establishing appropriate staff-to-patient ratios.

• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure the provision of safe and effective patient care, which may involve conducting audits and reviewing patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with other departments such as medical staff, administration, and support services, to ensure effective coordination of patient care.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including maintaining proper documentation, conducting regular inspections, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

• Provide ongoing education and training to clinical staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

• Manage the department's budget and resources efficiently, which includes monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving measures, and optimizing resource utilization.

• Coordinate services with surgeons to ensure proper scheduling, timing, preoperative, interoperative, and postoperative care for patients.

• Oversee the physical plant and all equipment associated with the ambulatory surgical centers to ensure safety and regulatory standards are exceeded.

• Develop, maintain, review, and improve policies and procedures associated with the functioning of the ambulatory surgical centers.

• Develop appropriate and significant metrics to quickly and efficiently identify problems and challenges within the practice, and implement a monitoring system and strategies for positive outcomes. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a Managing Director role or similar leadership position

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role

• Proven track record in developing effective strategies and business plans

• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Experience with Clinical leadership and familiar with clinical policies and procedures

• Knowledge of Quality Management (QM) and Total Quality Management practices

• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management

• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and managerial best practices

• Excellent communication, negotiation and public speaking skills

• Ability to foster a positive work environment and build strong professional relationships

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
