WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

In this role, you'll be responsible for all tasks associated with the entry and maintenance of equipment files using the computerized maintenance management system. You'll maintain electronic and hard copies of these records.

As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members - show up for every shift and give 100% while you're there. Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all times

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

  • Responsible for computerized maintenance management system, including all electronic entry and physical documents, relating to equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of all equipment information.
  • Maintain equipment files, archives and retrieves records.
  • Generate, distribute, reconcile, and analyze reports. Assist in the development of management reports regarding statistical process control.
  • Track the status and completion of all work orders.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for computerized maintenance management system.
  • Initiate corrective and preventative maintenance work orders and distribute to appropriate areas.
  • Responsible for approval process for new and existing equipment.
  • May perform limited equipment maintenance activities.

Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift

Pay Information: Starts at $17.31/hr, goes up based on experience, plus any applicable shift differential for working any late nights, over nights, and on the weekends.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Good organization, math, verbal, and written skills.
  • Considerable knowledge of computer office products, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications; proficient in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required, as well as with a team.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications):

  • 1 year of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time and working under challenging conditions. Requires the ability to stand, stretch, stoop and bend for extended time periods, as well as being able to lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds.
