Who are we looking for?
As an Intern with McDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions you will support the Supply Chain Planning Department with general Supply Chain operations and organizational tasks while meeting departmental and corporate objectives. In addition, you will work on various projects and initiatives that could impact the Business globally. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), master data management, reporting, analytics, forecasting, purchase order maintenance, and supplier management.

Specific Intern Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist/Support Planning department daily.
- Access and navigate JDE Supply Chain Planning and Procurement
- Participate in weekly supply planning meetings.
- Assist with international supplier communications on daily topics.
- Generate process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions.
- Assist the Supply Chain team with reporting of departmental objectives.
- Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.
- Assist business planning team with various forecasting and analysis as needed.
What competencies will you need?
Undergraduate or graduate business student with/or pursuing major in Supply Chain Management.
Solid analytical skills and self-motivated.
Local candidate to work an estimated 40 hours per week
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
JDE supply chain applications experience a huge plus
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Leadership (ability to influence, collaborate, and thinks/acts like a business owner)
