What Will You Do?
This role is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of the business unit financials during the month-end close, annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles.
Lead month-end close consolidation and reporting, including monthly Reporting Package for EWS Divisional President, EWS VP of Finance and Executive Staff.
Manage and complete reporting requirements in a timely manner including variance analyses to Budget, Forecast and Prior Year, adjusted operating income walks, supplemental data reporting, month end close, quarter reviews, orders, daily sales, and weekly orders.
Support the VP of Finance in the execution of the annual budgeting process to ensure timely completion with VP Finance and budget owners.
Support the finalization of the month end close process by analyzing performance vs. budget / prior year results. Understand key drivers and proactively summarize performance / results for the VP of Finance.
Develop and operate scalable reporting, forecasting templates, and overall business intelligence infrastructure.
Partner with the business units FP&A Leads to streamline processes, improve data infrastructure, and avoid duplication of efforts across EWS.
Work closely with the Regional Corporate FP&A Team in group reporting and analyses.
Encourage use of standardized reporting and adoption within the business units.
Support acquisition and integration FP&A onboarding activities [SAP BPC, Planful].
Support the EWS VP of Finance on ad hoc financial analysis, scenario planning and modeling as needed through partnership and collaboration.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Education :
BA in Finance or Accounting
Experience :
10+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities :
Experience with data modeling and financial statement analysis.
Knowledge of leading Financial Planning and Analysis tools (i.e., SAP BPC, Planful).
Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analytics and communicate results effectively.
Best-in-class (more than advanced) Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentation.
Strong communicator and collaborator across multiple business units with a service-oriented business partnering approach.
Ability to thrive and take initiative in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and ambiguous environment.
Innovative thinker.
Project Management experience is a plus.
