1st Shift Fabrication Supervisor

Location: West Fargo, ND

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Salary: $25 - $30 per hour based on experience

Kelly is seeking a 1st shift Fabrication Supervisor for a premiere customer in West Fargo, ND!

The Metal Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for managing several employees, equipment, inventory, and production processes. This position requires extensive knowledge of CNC equipment operation, programming, and troubleshooting.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate daily operations with management, supervise metal fabrication personnel, manage production, quality, inventory, and maintenance.

• Train, develop, and coach employees, handle personnel issues according to company policies, and provide performance evaluations.

• Manage fabrication equipment, troubleshoot CNC equipment, and ensure proper functioning of production systems.

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and manage documentation related to quality checks.

• Collaborate with other supervisors to improve manufacturing results and train employees on equipment safety and operation.

• Manage timecards, track inventory, execute production orders, and ensure safe and proper equipment operation.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Education/Experience: Requires either a 2-year associate’s degree in engineering/manufacturing/industrial technology OR 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing/metal fabrication.

• CNC Experience: Strong knowledge of CNC equipment, including laser systems, routers, and familiarity with CAD, CAM, and G-code.

• Skills: Organizational, leadership, and communication skills are crucial, along with experience in directing teams, troubleshooting electronics, and using MRP software.

• Physical Demands: The position requires the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and meet various vision and mobility requirements.

This position is ideal for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor with a solid background in CNC machine operation , team leadership , and metal fabrication . You'll be working in a direct-hire capacity, handling production and quality management, while ensuring the team operates in compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
