Wells Fargo Senior Lead Digital Product Manager, Merchant Servicing Operations in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise

  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

  • Collaborate with Technology, Product and Business teams to sequence work, create a product roadmap and deliver work aligned with Merchant Services strategy

  • Coordinate highly complex activities and provide guidance and direction to Scrum Team

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise

  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership, both in Product and Technology

  • Proven ability to translate and present complex technical data and information across technical and non-technical groups

  • Ensure work is delivered in compliance with applicable policies and actively mitigate risk

  • Provide direct leadership to support a culture of talent development to meet business objectives

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile methodology of delivery, including but not limited to intake and discovery/analysis of new work and work in progress within the backlog, writing user stories, refinement, and facilitating and driving prioritization discussions

  • Merchant Services experience within the financial services industry

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking epics, features and user stories in backlogs, such as Confluence and Jira

  • Experience working with third party vendors

  • Customer centricity mindset; focused on putting the customer first in product development to resolve conflicts and prioritize value outcome

  • Experience influencing and building relationships with LOB stakeholders, product owners, technology, business analysis, or other internal partners

  • Demonstrated ability to enhance and implement new processes by proactively identifying roadblocks and developing recommendations for unforeseen issues

  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams

  • Proven ability to be innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs

  • Demonstrated ability for self-management, problem-solving, and critical decision making in an efficient manner using strong analytical thinking in a complex matrixed environment

  • Experience navigating through ambiguity

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and experience communicating and presenting information to senior leaders

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
