GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Fostering a positive and productive work environment and while playing a key role in managing and implementing HR policies and programs, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays both a tactical and a strategic role in aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives. Acting as a consultant to management and employees, the HRBP ensures the effective implementation of HR programs, fosters a positive work culture, and drives organizational success through people management strategies. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills who can manage employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, performance management and other typical HR functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned:

  • Collaborates with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.

  • Provides data-driven insights to influence workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design.

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

  • Drives talent acquisition efforts in collaboration with hiring managers and recruiters including the posting of jobs, interviewing, and selection processes.

  • Ensures a seamless and streamlined onboarding experience for new hires including conducting new hire orientation.

  • Coaches, counsels, and mentor's supervisors, managers, and employees on HR and other workplace matters.

  • Addresses employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in compliance with labor laws.

  • Facilitates training programs to enhance leadership and employee capabilities.

  • Supports the talent management process and works with managers in performance evaluations, goal setting, and professional development plans.

  • Implements engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Ensures company policies align with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversees compliance with workplace policies, safety, and HR procedures.

  • Partnering with the Compensation team, assists with market benchmarking, job evaluations, and salary reviews to attract and retain top talent.

  • Guides employees on compensation and benefits-related inquiries.

  • Manages HR databases and ensures accurate record-keeping.

  • Generates HR reports and analytics to support decision-making while leveraging HR technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field is required.

  • 5+ years of experience in a HRBP or Generalist role and in manufacturing and/or corporate environment preferred.

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

  • Minimal travel required, 5%-10%

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Continuous/process improvement skills are paramount in this role.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle and Kronos HRIS experience preferred.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in employee relations, change management, or organizational development preferred.
