Job Role: Calibration Technician

Instrumentation Technical Services LLC, a part of the Applied Technical Services Family of Companies, is an ISO 9001 registered and ISO 17025:2017 accredited calibration service provider and metrology laboratory. Our company is based in West Chester, PA and performs high level calibrations for clients throughout the US. We provide industry leading process controls, laboratory, and metrology services to a wide range of industry partners. We are looking to expand and add new members to our growing team. We offer classroom and hands-on training opportunities, and the ability to work in a variety of industries. Position Prerequisites

Interested technicians should understand calibration principles and be familiar with laboratory, process, and/or analytical instrumentation. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, or as part of a team, using in-house procedures and standards and/or as outlined by customer requirements. Technicians should also have strong customer service skills placing emphasis on exceeding customer expectations. Your ability to learn and enhance your skillset will be met with opportunities and challenges to ensure your successful personal and professional growth within our organization.

Required:

· An Associates degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, physics or other associated discipline, or equivalent military training.

· 3+ years experience working in metrology or process controls and calibration.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Basic knowledge of computers and software; competency in using Microsoft Office products strongly desired.

· Ability to kneel, climb, and stand for long periods.

· Ability to lift and/or carry 50+ pounds.

· Must have and maintain clean driving record, background check and drug screen

· Must be available to travel up to 50%

· Detail and quality oriented

· Candidate shall provide their own cell phone with data plan for connection to ATS email and multi-factor authentication.

Preferred:

· Experience working in a cGMP regulated industries following good documentation practices.

· Experience working in an ISO 17025 environment utilizing processes that identify and quantify contributors of uncertainty.

· Multidisciplinary knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and/or laboratory equipment common to pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing environments.

· Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics.

· Well-developed troubleshooting techniques.

· ASQ/CCT or CMT certification
