Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25 per hr. to start

2-2-3 schedule

6am-6pm (12 hour shifts)

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Safely and proficiently operating multiple types of Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs).

• Completing daily PIT safety checklists.

• Safely charging batteries for PITs.

• Operating all non-PIT equipment including hand pallet jacks, pallet exchange machine, pallet stretch wrappers, and pallet banding machine.

• Maintaining skill proficiency in SAP, WES, Microsoft Outlook, Temperature monitor devices, and other necessary programs.

• Supporting site and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Performing all housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and organized.

• Assisting in various cycle counting and location audit activities.

• Performing all warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storage of materials.

• Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies.

• Assisting in the review, creation, and editing of warehouse SOPs, work instructions, and forms.

• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a strong understanding of and compliance with applicable SOPs, GMPs, and department/site guidelines.

• Have experience safely and proficiently operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs).

• Are able to communicate effectively with truck drivers and carriers.

• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Have a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
