Director of Nursing or Supervisor Licensed Administrator Job Summary: $45 to $50 per hour for a six—to eight-week contract with the opportunity to be hired by our client if you and the facility both decide it's a good fit. The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee and coordinate the nursing department at our client's beautiful private and semi-private room long-term care facility, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. The DON will implement policies, manage staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:

• Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring optimal performance and professional development.

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.

• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.

• Quality Care & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Monitor and evaluate patient care to ensure high standards.

• Conduct regular audits and implement quality improvement initiatives.

• Resident Care:

• Assess resident needs and create personalized care plans.

• Ensure the provision of compassionate and effective care.

• Address and resolve resident and family concerns.

• Administrative Duties:

• Manage budgets, inventory, and supplies.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Collaborate with other departments to promote a cohesive team environment.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
