Midwest Motor Supply Co 1st Shift Warehouse Worker - Babylon, NY - $19/hr in West Babylon, New York
Choice Distribution is searching for a Warehouse Associate in its W. Babylon, NY location. Choice Distribution is a 30-year-old, family-owned business committed to serving the Maintenance Industry by providing over 20,000 consumable MRO items in a carefully planned inventory system. As a valuable member of the distribution team, job duties will include:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors and Coworkers.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Warehouse Experience
- Prior Industry Knowledge/Experience in Supply and Distribution
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Positive Attitude
- Excellent Customer Service
- Bi-lingual /Spanish a plus
All applicants must have:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
Additional Information:
The pay rate is $19.00 per hour
The hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
