Description

Robert Half is looking for an AR Specialist for a Milwaukee area organization.

Responsibilities:

• Handle billing operations, ensuring all invoices are issued to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

• Manage cash applications by accurately applying payments to customer accounts.

• Conduct light collection activities, including following up with customers on overdue payments.

• Maintain and update accounts receivable records, ensuring all information is accurate and current.

• Regularly review customer credit applications, assessing creditworthiness as per company policies.

• Monitor customer credit accounts, identifying and addressing any issues or irregularities.

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries, providing accurate information and taking necessary corrective action.

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounts receivable processes and procedures.

• Contribute to monthly financial statement preparation, specifically in relation to accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and regulations

• Demonstrated experience in Billing operations

• Proficiency in Cash Applications

• Experience in Cash Collections

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy and efficiency in work

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative in finding workable solutions to complex problems.
