DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this position, you will be responsible and accountable for the safety and security of hospital patients, employees, students, and visitors as well as Commonwealth and private property. These goals will be achieved by conducting routine patrols of tunnels, basements, buildings, and ground level areas both on foot and by vehicle to maintain safety and security through the identification of unauthorized individuals, traffic issues, fire hazards, and other potential risks. Your duties will also involve responding to and addressing complaints from patients, visitors, and employees, as well as providing support on wards when necessary. In addition, you will play a key role in upholding traffic and parking regulations within the hospital premises to ensure organized parking and smooth traffic flow, which includes monitoring employee vehicle registrations. Reporting unauthorized vehicles is crucial to safeguard the well-being of patients, visitors, and staff members. Moreover, you will assist in locating missing patients and facilitating their safe return. Offering polite escort services and guidance to visitors, patients, and employees by providing directions and assistance when required is also part of your responsibilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

FREE parking Full-time employment Work hours are 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Varied off days; 80 hours/2 week schedule. with 2 paid 15-minute breaks, no lunch period Work hours may change based on operational needs Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
