FOOD PREPARATION WORKERS: Bagel Hound Inc. dba Bagel Hound located in Wellfleet, Massachusetts in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2025-11/01/2024; (8) Openings. 40 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary, 3AM 11AM, and/or 8AM-4PM. Will train to perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking such as preparing dough for bagels, slicing meats, chopping fruits and vegetables, preparing cream cheeses, salads and soups, and maintaining sanitary conditions in kitchen and walk-in areas and take out trash. \$16.04 p/hour or \$24.06 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employers will use a single work week for computing wages starting Wednesday at 12:01 am and ending Tuesday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (bi-weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging is not available. Transportation is not provided to the worksite.
