As part of a small, hardworking, and accomplished team of experts, you will contribute to the success of New Glenn's second stage by facilitating configuration development and integration throughout the product lifecycle. Success in this role looks like: leading the integrated product team to define the best design solution across the vehicle's structural, mechanical, fluids, and electrical subsystems; coordinating and communicating design changes between affected subsystems; and most importantly, pushing the team forward through key technical decisions and resolution of emergent issues using trade and impact studies. Additional Responsibilities Manage the integrated design across vehicle subsystems Support development of system requirements, flow down, and verification planning Lead trade and impact studies Assist in configuration management and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) Create and manage interface definitions between subsystems with appropriate model definition and control documents Manage inter-module development priorities and expectations as resolution of integration issues between lead engineers and their respective teams Ensure that the configuration supports major design reviews and integration milestones Maintain and report on development activity, schedule, budget and technical issues Ensure manufacturing assembly, integrated test and concept of operations strategies are developed concurrently with the design Provide technical assistance to integration and testing activities Qualifications B.S. in Engineering, or equivalent Demonstrated configuration control experience on recently developed large support equipment from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test. Strong design and integration skills using 3D CAD software and visualization tools Strong interpersonal and teamwork experience working in a highly integrated multi-functional team environment Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired Experience in the development and packaging of large structural support equipment used in oil/gas, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures Strong GD&T skills and experience with large tolerance stack-up analysis Experience using PTC Creo and Windchill Participated in a recognized configuration management training (CMII) Knowledge of aerospace vehicle fabrication and assembly techniques and related quality control concepts Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $111,690-$156,366 Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $102,38-$143,335 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
