Blue Origin LLC Senior Process Engineer in Wedgwood, Washington

This role is a part of Test & Flight Operations team, providing centralized support to Business Units with the focus on design, build and maintenance of the ground systems, test and launch facilities across multiple locations. You will participate in the development and implementation of engineering processes for Test and Flight Operations systems. We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for the implementation and execution the end-to-end engineering processes for the integrated ground systems used by Blue Origin product lines. You will ensure the implementation is consistent with company policies. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and transparency of data to support program activity and business systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, Implement, and improve engineering and program Lifecyle management policies, procedures, and standards to be used for Test and Flight Operations systems. Lead Process Modeling, Process Measurement, Problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis, Non-Manufacturing Process Design, Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management. Identify and implement system and process improvements as required to increase efficiency and quality. Develop efficient, effective, and predictable systems through the stabilization of processes. Areas of expertise and focus are Process Analysis, Process Improvement, Execution Planning, and Operations Planning. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years' experience development process definition 7+ years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (automotive, medical device, aerospace, etc.). BS in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience Proficient with product lifecycle management (PLM) Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers. Excellent technical writing and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with export control (EAR/ITAR) regulations Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerospace industries MS in Engineering or related technical field Experience with requirements development/management tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next Gen Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools such as Windchill Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA Ability to work with partially defined requirements and changing criteria Database skills Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $146,645-$205,302 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
