Job Title: Pipe Welder

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and certified 6G Sanitary Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in TIG welding, have at least 2 years of recent welding experience on stainless steel, and must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. Must be willing to travel across the United States for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipes using TIG welding techniques.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine project specifications.

• Travel to various job sites to complete welding projects as required.

• Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.

• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet specifications.

• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Essential Skills

• 6G Welding Certification

• OSHA 10 Certification (must be verified with a copy of certification)

• At least 2 years of proven experience with TIG welding (verified with reference)

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

• Reliable transportation to get to and from job sites

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to work 6 days a week and 10-hour days

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding

• Experience with stick welding

• Knowledge of pipe fabrication and installation

• Experience in construction and industrial environments

• Ability to work with carbon steel and stainless steel

Food and Beverage environment installing sanitation pipe. Work with a group of welders in indoor and outdoor settings.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00
