SUMMARY
As a Mammography Technologist, your demonstrated customer service and communication skills greatly assist you in obtaining images of good diagnostic quality, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients.
STATUS: Per Diem
LOCATION: Multiple Ambulatory Locations
DEPARTMENT: Ambulatory Imaging
SCHEDULE: Weekday Days and Saturday AM
ATTRIBUTES
- Two (2) year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
- NYS license in Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R)
- Prior Radiologic Technologist experience (preferred)
- ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification (preferred)
- Mammography. Perform and/or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are met
- General Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basis
- Documentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient charts

- RTC - Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
