Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team in Webster, Massachusetts. In this role, you will manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and year-end closings.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain the company's system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.

• Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.

• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close process.

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

• Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the executive management team.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller position or similar role within the automotive industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is a mandatory requirement.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.

• Applicant must possess auditing skills to ensure financial compliance.

• Experience in Year End Closings is essential.

• Proficiency in Year-end Close procedures is mandatory.

• Ability to prepare Year-end Financial Statements is required.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is crucial
