Position Summary:

Based at our manufacturing facility in Asheville, NC, and reporting directly to the site Senior Human Resources Manager, this position will collaborate closely with business operations to thoroughly understand their needs and objectives while delivering effective HR solutions. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with business requirements, thereby making a substantial contribution to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage all areas of the HR Model (HR Business Partners, Field HR, Shared Services and HR Technologies) to improve value of teamwork and enhance the colleague experience.

  • Establish and implement site HR strategies, policies, and procedures to facilitate the company's growth and progress.

  • Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and implement effective talent acquisition, strategies, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates with validated work behaviors that align with the job requirements.

  • Assess various programs, such as new colleague onboarding and attendance policies, by employing continuous improvement methodologies to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary improvements.

  • Provide direction and support to managers regarding employee relations matters, while adhering to company policies and relevant employment laws.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training and development programs on various topics.

  • Evaluate compensation programs, including salary planning, internal/external analysis and benchmarking, and making recommendations.

  • Partner with Operations and HR leadership to develop site engagement strategy based on feedback from annual Employee Involvement Survey).

  • Analyze HR data and employ AI tools to identify trends and advocate proactive solutions.

  • Stay updated with current industry trends and effective strategies to consistently improve HR processes and programs.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. A Master's degree and HR certification is helpful but not required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a sophisticated matrixed organization. Experience in operations and manufacturing is preferable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrable track record of efficiently implementing HR programs and initiatives that address business needs.

  • Ability to navigate a large, matrixed global organization to deliver solutions at the local level.

  • Detailed understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrable ability to handle critical and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to clearly set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
