RES Warehouse Associate in Weatherford, Texas

Summary:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are critical to the efficient operation of our warehouse. Perform various tasks / projects to ensure accurate inventory levels of spare parts, PPE and tools as well as ensuring shipping paperwork is maintained and completed accurately.

Requirements:

  • Sort, package, and prepare PPE and tools for projects. Prepare kits and materials for shipping.

  • Inspect PPE and tools as they come in and leave the warehouse, keep record of inspections.

  • Accepts shipments from carriers, verifies numbers of packages, rejects damaged packages, and records discrepancies.

  • Communicates with Inventory Specialist regarding any carrier related items.Creating labels for UPS and FEDEX shipments going out.

  • Unpacks materials, performs counts, inspects for damages, and records variances.

  • Communicates with Materials Planner any quantity related issues.

  • Unload/load incoming or outgoing shipments.

  • Ensure shipments of inbound freight are properly documented, received in a timely manner and that inventory is properly updated. Ensure that all products have proper documentation before shipping.

  • Checks to ensure shipments are properly packaged, labelled, and documented and files copies of shipping records.

  • Verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Prepare shipping papers, bills of lading, etc.Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

  • Maintains inventory of shipping.

  • Ensure tools are calibrated when necessary. Maintain calibration records. Contact different labs to receive quotes and information for calibrating.

  • Track and maintain spare parts inventory. Monitor inventory tracking system. Make recommendations to improve inventory management processes.

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels for spare parts, PPE, and tools. This includes tracking who has what PPE, when PPE needs to be ordered and ensuring Technicians get PPE timelines.

  • Keep the warehouse organized and clean so tools can be easily located. Perform inventory audits periodically.

  • Work with department to ensure Technicians receive the proper tools and PPE needed for projects.

  • Use forklift to load/unload shipments. Assure inventory accuracy by keeping warehouse organized and clean.

  • When necessary, assist with returning rental vehicles. Additionally, driving the company vehicle to drop off urgent UPS and FEDEX packages.

  • Identify non-conformities and defects. Notify appropriate personnel of non-conformance issues. Be involved in continuous improvement tasks and projects to resolve quality issues.

  • May assist in supplier audits and visits to ensure compliance with processes, procedures, and quality.

  • Work closely with other warehouse associates and departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Assist with special projects and tasks as needed.

Anticipated base salary range: $21.00 - $25.00

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
