Job Title: Hybrid Medical Billing Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Weatherford, OK (Must live in the state of Oklahoma)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis, working in a hybrid capacity in Weatherford, OK. Candidates must reside in Oklahoma and bring expertise in handling medical billing with a focus on Medicare and Medicaid claims. This role requires the ability to work independently and manage a backlog of billing cases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage billing for Medicare and Medicaid claims

• Work through a backlog of billing independently with minimal supervision

• Utilize Epic software for billing (experience with Cerner is a plus)

• Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and standards for Medicare and Medicaid claims

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all billing documentation and data entry

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must live in the state of Oklahoma

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing, particularly with Medicaid and Medicare

• Proficiency in Epic software (Cerner experience is an advantage)

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a backlog of tasks effectively

• Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
